Nina Grünfeld: Searching for roots
 – Norway

Documentary filmmaker, author, university professor and owner of the production studio Gründer Film in Oslo. She is best known for her documentary films – several of them are about her father, a well-known psychiatrist, and one of them tells about the Jewish orphanage in Oslo, where the father grew up as a refugee child during the Second World War and named his daughter after the director, Nina Hasvoll. In his book Frida. Min ukjente farmors krig (Frida. My Unknown Grandmother's War), she reconstructs, from contemporary police documents, the story of a Jewish woman, grandmother and prostitute in Czechoslovakia, who was suspected of espionage and killed by the Nazis in the Ravensbrück concentration camp in April 1945.
