Born in 1973 in Most, he graduated from the secondary school in Litvínov. In years 1994–2007, he worked as an archivist at the Institute of Archaeological Monument Care in Northwest Bohemia. He writes poetry (Muž v průlomu, Man Breaking Through, 2004; V cirkuse Calvaria, In Circus Calvaria, 2009; 64, 2013; Přibližování dřeva, Convergence of Wood, 2019; XXX | Jezero,  XXX | The Lake, 2020) and prose (Trosky jednoho deníku, Remains of a Diary, 2016; Tři kapitoly, Three Chapters, 2020). In 2021, he published the verse novel Silážní jámy (Silage Holes), and this year the fresh epic composition Na cvičíšti (At the Training Area), in which he skillfully blends fleeting-affected pomposity and ironic brevity with the poetics of a concise observation.
